I Can't Setup Solaris 8 (Intel x86) on Vmware 3.0 , When I Start Vmware and Insert Boot CD of Solaris 8 , the Error Message is show not ufs Disk , I can't install

Try not to use the boot CD, use the installaton CD (CD1) to boot the virtual PC instead.

...and..I have encountered another problem:
how can I do the display setting? The model numbers of both my monitor and display card are not listed in Solaris Installation program, so what can I do?
