Hi,
I was looking for more detailed info, but strangely enough I think I can help.

Install the packages SUNWsacom, SUNWsasnm, SUNWsadmi, and SUNWmibii. Then reboot, otherwise you can star it by the follow:

/etc/rc3.d/S9?snmpdx start
/etc/rc3.d/S9?mibii? start (i don't have a solaris machine in from of me, but there is enough details that you can work it out).

If you want to change the community strings, then edit the files in /etc/snmp/conf/. Basically change 'public' and 'private/secret' to what you like.

Cheers

Jov
