I don't really know if it is possible to install solaris on a pc.
But the issue on "both" machines is that i get the message "no ufs partitions"
i kant generate ufs partition with windows, can i do it with linux? how?
thx and sorry for my ignorance.

I don't think the kernal supports an AMD processor. You will also have to free up some space to creat a couple of partitions. I believe you need at least 1.6gigs of free space. You will need at least a root and swap partition.
