Comment: I'm running into a problem related to Solaris 8 colormaps. I'm working on a Solaris 8 machine that has been configured so that Saving a Home Session has been disabled. I am unable to run some of my target applications with the default number of colors that are setup in the color style manager and I need to set the system up so that it runs in the "Most Colors for Applications" mode. The problem i'm having, is that I change the system to this mode, and it requires you to log out and then log back in again to take effect...however, the settings don't get saved unless you set that as your Home session default color mode(can't do this with home sessions disabled). Does anyone know how I can setup the system to come up in the desired color mode by default, rather than just going to the Solaris default setting? I was thinking that there's probably some way to do it in the login processing, but I haven't the slightest idea where to begin with it.
