Comment: I have a problem...One of the computers at our workplace is disabling it's internet connection. Is this because of overload? If I disable and then enable the connection after it shuts off, it works for a day or so. Any ideas? We are a peer to peer network and the computer that is turning the internet connection off is a workstation and acts as the database server. pc's frustrate me

Reply: connections don't become disabled due to load. could be an intermittent hardware failure of the nic which would result in it being disable. Look at event viewer logs to get more clues. Review your firewall configuration.
