Comment: Hello everyone. When I try to get onto the itnernet, the page comes up for a few seconds (partially loaded) and it's gone and all I have is my desktop. I changed home page but that didn't help. I put up a blank home page and that loads OK but when I try to put in a web address (even when clicking on Favorites) I'm back to my desk top. I ran a full virus scan and everything came up clean and I also did a defrag. Now what? Thanks for any help.

Reply: Does it do this for all profiles? What browser are you using? Have you tried another one? Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

Reply: It seems that no matter what web site I click on, it starts to load and then it disappears and all I am left with is the desktop. Probably if I click on the site to download Firefox, I won't be able to get on it. (p.s.--I'm using a friend's computer to be able to do this) I have heard that Firefox is good.
