Subject: restore window causes 100% cpu
OS: win2k3
CPU/Ram: athlon3000+/1gb
Manufacturer/Model: n/a
Comment:

I have collected data w/ perfmon when this issue occurs. I think it has something to do w/ my video card, but i really need some help. If i have multiple apps running. If i click on the min'd window on the taskbar sometimes my cpu shoots to 100% and app will never restore/maximize and i have to close the program (windows says it is not responding) which besided annoying can cause data loss.
memory % commited bytes is steady at 32%
memory available mb = 160
memory cache\faults/sec jumps 41 to 200
memory demand zero faults/sec 70 to 251
memory page faults/sec 170 to 425
memory page reads/sec .8 to 10.8
memory page writes/sec 0 to 1.8
memory pages input/sec 3.8 to 32.1
memory pages output/sec 0 to 29.3
memory pages/sec 3.88 to 61.44
memory transition faults/sec 89 to 150
memory write copies/sec 0 to 3.5
network interface bytes total 700 to 8500
% disk time is 6%, % idle time is 94%
page file % utilization steady at 7%
Any ideas... i suspect video card, but dont really know where to start or what to do...
Help please!
