Reply: Although XP home cannot be added to a domain. It CAN access domain resources. You can map a drive or folder and the user can access this using a DOMAIN user account.

Reply: OP has stated he has XPHome, which cannot be joined to a Domain. cd you said "Is it possible to use external computers for usernames to use for folder security?" No. You can't set permissions based on computers. Look here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040 and here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814004 Just out of curiosity, why did you purchase Server when you can't really utilize all the features? Seems like a waste of money to me. "So won’t you give this man his wings What a shame To have to beg you to see We’re not all the same What a shame" - Shinedown
