I'm trying to get a server up and running to be able to use to share files a printer and do gaming here are the machines i have could someone help me configure these machines and my server here is what i've done

surfboard modem to wireless linksys router assigned router to be static ip address

lan cable from 4 port hub to server running windows server 2003 small business with 2 nics
lan cable 4 port hub to desktop with vista
lan cable 4 port hub to vonage router

also running 2 wireless systems one xp pro other vista

where can i find out how to setup the domain and server setting to share files a printer etc i've obtained internet connection on all machines

The best place is the MS site. You will have to dig for it. Start at the 2003 server home. Look at technet too. You help and support center has most of it too.

There are plenty of how-to's, virtual tours, recorded presentations and well, everything you would need.

This is a rather compex task to do it correctly. You may wish to consider a trained installer if there is business data that needs to be protected.

I would also suggest that you do not connect the server to the internet unless you know how to secure it. Most companies actually can do without direct access to their business systems. Get a junky computer for people to surf on.

Take a look at Network Magic. There's a free version which I think is just the trial for the full version.
Use the free version and study the setup so by the time it expires you'll have a handle on how networking works.

Personally, for this small a setup, I wouldn't bother with a domain. If it were me, I'd just keep it as a workgroup.

I wouldn't try gaming over a wirless connection. For best results (for gaming that is) you will want wired connections.
