Comment:

I recently modified the password policy to my domain, I modified the password history, Maximum Password age, minimum password age, password length, account lockout duration, threshold, and reset lockout counter after x amount of minutes.

It all works fine when I checked the XP machines - it shows the new policy on the GPEDIT. But, when I checked the vista machine, the policy did not apply. The password history, lockout policy and so one have the default value.

Is this a problem with Vista and Windows 2003? Is there a fix for it or what extra steps are needed to get vista to accept the policy from Win2003 Std. Server?
