Comment: I'm new to IIS and NNTP. I have the NNTP service setup and working, but not sure how to allow 1 or more people to post when Read-only is enabled. I'm using NNTP as an announcement list and what to limit posting to select users/admins. How can I setup this up? Is there such thing as a separate NNTP manager or am I limited to using IIS panel? Thank you. Jenny

Reply: It's been a while since I setup a NNTP server, but I'll try to help. Just remove the "Read Only" and set the security rights on the folders. This should give you the ability to give access to those few that need write permissions to the NNTP server and still deny the rest.
