This is my first complete server setup and I'm 95% there but am stumbling on a minor issue. The client box can not get to the internet with a browser. Routing table looks good, nslookup returns proper IP's, but I only get '*' from tracert. The only firewall that is up is the basic firewall that gets setup with remote access. The install consists of AD, DC, DNS, File Server, DHCP Server. NO Web or Mail server, ICS, ICF. I'm thinking it's probably a policy issue but I need a hint of where to look first.
TIA: Dan

I take it, your clients can't ping the addresses. That would have me believe that your server isn't routing properly through the server. A bit more information into the network configuration would be helpful.

Is there something specific I can get? Unfortunately the server etc is at church and I'm at home. Under the IP Routing | GeneralI have 4 interfaces. Server to Internet (static IP from ISP)(Interface type = Public interface connected to internet with NAT and Firewall enabled), Server to Client (192,.168.1.1)(Interface type = Private interface connected to private network), Loopback (127.0.0.1), and Internal. Does that sound correct?

What route are you using?
It should be something like, 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ISP provided IP) stating that you want all 192.168.1.x subnet to goto ISP IP.

Looking at the IP Routing Table I see nothing that relates the 2. I assume I should see the ISP IP in the gateway field? I don't know why the routing is confusing me so much.

It's working now. I can't explain it because I did not make any changes. I was looking at various configuratons, properties, etc and it just started working. On to VPN access

Thanks
