Comment: I am experiencing a very strange issue with terminal server. We have remote users who log in with RDP to use a database application. The application is set to open automatically on connection. The problem is the application cannot route orund the network so connections to other DB's fail however if we don't automatically launch the app in the sesion and give the users a desktop to run the app from in the RDP connection routing is fine. IF you then set the application back to automatically launch it continues to work fine. This is also user specific as each user needs to log on the desktop once and launch the app for it to continue working. If the user had not done this ever it will fail. Unfortunately we cannot do this for all our users and we cannot allow them to access a desktop. Any help is apreciated Gary

Reply: Then why not reset their passwords, log in for them, launch the application, then require a new password at next login? I see this as the fastest work around. As for the application, there isn't enough information provided to help with that issue.
