Hello all, I'm new to this forum and relatively new to SBS, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running a SBS system with about 20 static desktops and 2 or 3 mobile laptops. All our desktops are XP pro machines connected to the domain and internet traffic is routed the SBServer, but the laptops connect wirelessly directly to the router.

We have recently changed ISP, and our XP machines can no longer connect properly to various sites such as Google Adwords, Gmail and BT Yahoo mail. One of our laptops has Vista, and this is the only machine which views the sites correctly.

I am most confused. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks very much.

Simeoni.

You need to update the information in the forwarders tab in DNS server. It points to your old isp and needs to point to your new isps dns servers.

Make sure your lan clients are pointing to the ms dns server and not the router/isp dns server.

OK, checked both of those, and both are set correctly, but still no dice. DNS forwarders tab has new ISP's domain name servers, and all LAN clients have default gateway and preferred dns server set as the SBServer. I just don't get it. Thanks very much for your responses wanderer. Do you or anyone else have any other suggestions? Your help is very much appreciated.

Simeoni.

Both work. The client ping is just a couple of milliseconds slower.
