Hi All
I am in the middle of Vista testing for one of our clients, and having an issue with Vista connecting to a Microsoft RRAS VPN. We have Windows 2000 and Windows XP machines connecting fine with no issues.
The RRAS solution includes a IPSEC/L2TP VPN, Microsoft IAS servers, and an RSA solution. We are using client side certificate based authentication.
The issue we see with Vista is that it attempts to connect after entering Windows / RSA credentials, however times out and gives a generic "server not responding" error. We have checked that nothing is being blocked on any firewalls, and can see all the IPSEC traffic going back and forward from the Vista client to the RRAS server. However we are getting no errors on the RRAS server or IAS server when Vista fails to connect, it's as if nothing is hitting them. There is a NAT and Firewall between the client and the servers.
Has anyone successfully connected Vista to a RRAS VPN in a similar configuration? And if so were there any issues or tweaks that had to be applied to get it working?
Thanks
