Hi. I know virtually nothing about servers and I really need your help on what to you is likely a simple question (or at least I hope so).

Because of budgetary reasons I chose to install and run a server program on my WinXP desktop using the WAMP software on my hard drive. Someone spelled out specific step-by-step directions and this was successful and works great.

I'd like to add another server based program and also run it from my desktop. The first program was installed on the C:\WAMP\www folder.

Wanting to avoid any kind of conflict with the first program, I was thinking I could install the new program in a sub folder C:\WAMP\www\newprogram, making sure to change any future references in the install to this location.

Would this work and is this the best way to handle the situation?

Thanks for your help.

It depends on the program and it's dependencies.
