I am running Windows 2008 as a Virtual Machine and I cannot get the Internet working. I choosed "Shared NAT", same as my XP Virtual machine (where the INternet works) but in Windows 2008 Server I get the error message: IP conflict. I tried to set the IP manually, this would not work either.

Does anyone please have a tip?

Check the configuration of your XP machine and compare it with the configuration of your windows server.
Open a command prompt by using Start / Run / CMD and type in:

ipconfig /all

on both machines.
Only the IP address should differ in the last octet.
