Reply: Are you trying to set a user or supervisor password in the BIOS? If so, do you then save the changes when exiting the BIOS? Your question isn't very clear. Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

Reply: Hi, The Motherboard DipSwitch only affects the PassWord set into the BIOS SETUP. It does nothing for any other Password. Bios Setup pass word can also be reset by resetting the Bios Setup. Also the DipSwitch may only be to prevent anyone getting into the Bios Setup. Good Luck, Jim
