Comment: I just installed a new Ethernet Card from Kingston. It is a 10Base-T. Well now my computer will just freeze up after a while. I have a Pentium II 400 128 MB ram with 8 mb video card Whats the deal?

Reply: Hi Andrew have you check that you do not have any conflicts (IRQ/IO) because this could cause the problemo however it could also be faulty hardware or simply that your drivers need upgrading try getting the lastest drivers off the internet FIRST then let us know if that solved your problemo

Reply: How do I check for Conflicts? What do you mean by faulty hardware. It works just sometimes it freezes after a while. I used the drivers that came with the card, are those not new enough? Please help. Thanks.

Reply: I updated the driver and it still froze up. I moved the card to a different PCI slot ... will that help? Thanks.

Reply: The same exact thing happened to me. The best thing to do (unfortunately) is to call tech support for the manufacturers of the network card
