Comment: Does anyone know if it is possible to install Internet explorer 7 onto a windows 98 machine? i know microsoft don't want us to use it, but i was wondering if anyone had found a work around to make it work.

Reply: Its not a case of Microsoft not wanting you to use Internet Explorer 7 on Windows 98, it more a case of Windows 98 not having the system facilities to allow it to run. Even Windows XP needs SP2 to run Internet Explorer 7. Windows 98 and Windows XP are two completley different operating systems and the only thing that they have in common is that they are made by Microsoft and they are called Windows. Stuart
