Why not use FireFox or one of the other stand alone tabbed browsers?

Its not a case of Microsoft not wanting you to use Internet Explorer 7 on Windows 98, it more a case of Windows 98 not having the system facilities to allow it to run. Even Windows XP needs SP2 to run Internet Explorer 7.

Windows 98 and Windows XP are two completley different operating systems and the only thing that they have in common is that they are made by Microsoft and they are called Windows.

Thats the bad thing about using windows 98... But there is some hope on getting some XP only programs and games to work on Windows 98... See on this link.
