Comment: Hello. I have an account which is associated with a domain, however the account got disassociated from the domain into a workgroup by mistake, and i wish to associate it with the domain again, so that the account can be used. When this is tried, a username & password is requested, which i don't have. However i do got administrator rights on the local computer. is there a way to force this without the special domain username&password? If not, is it possible to "convert" the domain account into a "normal" account so that it can be used as a normal computer account?

Reply: It takes a domain admin account to rejoin the workstation to the domain. Contact your network administrator. They have seen this happen before.

Reply: Accounts don't change from a Domain to a Workgroup. Are you talking about a profile? What exactly did you do? "So won’t you give this man his wings What a shame To have to beg you to see We’re not all the same What a shame" - Shinedown
